Product designer who builds the systems behind products. For the past four years I’ve led foundational design-system work at Verizon: native type and elevation standards, internal tooling, and the visual QA that keeps a 40-plus-component library consistent across iOS and Android.
My earlier career ran through print, multicultural marketing, and large-scale digital brand work. Now I’m focused on design systems and AI, including the tools I design and build myself.

Rules can set us free.
A design system is a constraint, and people hear constraint as a smaller room. It isn’t. It’s the part of the work you stop re-deciding. Nobody argues about a shadow value twice. The point of that is not tidiness — the point is to give people more time for the choices that actually matter.
That’s also why I keep my hands close to the work. I don’t write code, but I’ll design a plugin, spec every piece of its functionality, and direct AI to build it until the workflow is genuinely faster. Then I’ll go find where the line still sits and say so plainly, because being clear about what isn’t solved is more useful than pretending it’s further along.
